Vanmark's Even Feeder is specifically designed to eliminate wide variations in process flow rate by consistently metering product into your process line. No more "dribble to deluge" gaps and surges to starve or clog your process equipment. The Even Feeder will allow you to easily adjust your feed rate to your process requirements and get consistent results in downstream processes.

Eliminates a Common Cause of Process Inconsistency

In peeling applications, the most common cause of poor peeler performance is inconsistent feed rate. The peeler often goes from being starved for product to being overwhelmed leading to over-peeling and under-peeling. This costly inefficiency can be eliminated using the Vanmark Even Feeder.

Specifically Engineered for Feeding Applications

The low profile and close spacing of belt flights are specifically engineered to create a single layer of product across the width of the belt. This results in a very steady flow of product from the hopper. The hopper is also specially designed using Vanmark's exclusive "5-sided hopper" and round outlet to eliminate bridging and allow the hopper to empty completely. This assures your product flow will be "FIFO" (First In - First Out") not "FISH" First In - Still Here". No more product getting trapped in the bottom or corners of the hopper to spoil and contaminate incoming product.

Several different belt types available, including flighted PolyLock, rubber, and rodded belting. Can be engineered for wet or dry applications.

Improved Sanitation Built Into Rugged Design

Stainless steel construction throughout. Sloped and rounded surfaces are built in to reduce debris accumulation points. The unit stays cleaner and is easier to clean up saving time and money.

Capacity to Match Your Process Needs

Three standard models, based on hopper capacity, make up the Even Feeder line. It is available in three hopper sizes: 3 cu. ft. (0.08 m3) 15 cu. ft. (0.42 m3) and 40 cu. ft (1.33 m3). Flow rates available range from 600 lbs/hr (270 kg/hr) to 5,000 (2,275 kg/hr). Manual (handwheel) or optional electronic speed adjustment (requires customer supplied inverter) is available.
