Evenly Meter Wet Product Into Your Process Line

The Series 4500 Even Feeder conveyors are designed to meter product in WET* applications, such as peeled product before slicing. They are specifically engineered to provide a steady, even flow of product to your process line. No more "dribble to deluge" gaps and surges to starve or clog your process equipment. Easily adjusted to match feed rate requirements of downstream processes to get consistent results from your process line.

Eliminates Most Common Cause of Process Inconsistency

The most common cause of poor line performance is inconsistent product flow. Downstream processes often go from being starved to being overwhelmed leading to inconsistent quality. This costly inefficiency can be eliminated using the Vanmark Even Feeder.

Specifically Engineered for Feeding Applications

The low profile and close spacing of belt flights are specifically engineered to create a single layer of product across the width of the belt. This results in a very steady flow of product from the hopper. The rectangular 5-sided hopper with round outlet eliminates bridging and allows the hopper to empty completely. Product flow is "FIFO" (First In - First Out") not "FISH" First In - Still Here". Product does not get trapped in the bottom or corners of the hopper to spoil and contaminate incoming product.

Several different belt types are available, including flighted PolyLock, rubber, and rodded belting.

Improved Sanitation Built Into Rugged Design

Stainless steel construction throughout. Sloped and rounded surfaces are built in to reduce debris accumulation points. The unit stays cleaner and is easier to clean up saving time and money.

Capacity to Match Your Process Needs

Three standard models, based on hopper capacity, make up the Even Feeder line. It is available in three hopper sizes: 3 cu. ft. (0.08 m3) 15 cu. ft. (0.42 m3) and 40 cu. ft (1.33 m3). Flow rates available range from 600 lbs/hr (270 kg/hr) to 5,000 (2,275 kg/hr). Manual (handwheel) or optional electronic speed adjustment (requires customer supplied inverter) is available.

Constant, Metered Output	Belt specifically engineered with low profile flights and close spacing to create a single layer of product and a consistent feed rate. Eliminates surges and gaps in downstream processes.

Two Styles Available	Though we recommend the newer style feeder, when space is an issue, older style can be used. Steeper conveyor angle and round hopper allow elevation using less space in the process line.
Drive Unit	0.75 Hp gear motor, manually adjustable standard. Higher flow rates may require higher rated motor.
Capacity (Rate and Volume)	600 to 5,000 lbs/hr (270 to 2,275 kg/hr), depending on product. Three hopper capacities available: 3 cu. ft. (0.08 m³) 15 cu. ft. (0.42 m³) and 40 cu. ft (1.33 m³) Older style has 14 cu. ft (0.4 m³) round hopper.
